Our Story

Handcrafted in Seattle, WA: Our Commitment to Sustainable, Thoughtfully Designed Products

Here at our workshop in Seattle, we take great pride in creating handcrafted items that are both sustainable and beautiful. We meticulously source the finest materials available, supporting local suppliers such as Pendleton Woolen Mills and many other American manufacturers. Also sourcing imported specialty fabrics from Japan to Turkey.

Our products are crafted with care, designed to be unique and bring a touch of rustic style to the lives of their owners. Our goal is to offer thoughtful, well-made items that we hope you'll treasure as much as we do.

Meet Eve Cecelia, the founder, designer, and owner of Cecelia Stitch. Originally from New England, and raised in upstate NY, she moved to Alaska for work, and her love affair with Seattle began after visiting on extended layovers. The city's unique blend of mountains and water made it an easy choice. After years of managing other businesses, Eve decided to pursue handcraft professionally in her early thirties. Her professional journey has been diverse, spanning various industries, from coffee shops in Brooklyn to sensory deprivation spas in Seattle. Eventually, she found her home in the architecture and design industry, where she worked before joining the maker's community and launching Cecelia Stitch full-time.
Eve's products are crafted using materials such as waxed canvas, ideal for the damp Pacific Northwest environment, and Pendleton® wool woven locally for over a century. Her objective is to create durable, timeless goods in small batches.
